things you can do to support the Indigenous community right now

 


Listen.  

Listen to what the community is saying.  What has been discovered and is being discussed is not "history" or doesn't involve you.  This is an issue for everyone in Canada.


Donate.

 Donate to the Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc


 

Donations will be used toward the work that is needed for further investigation(scientific and archival) and later memorialize the children

Go fund me - Find Our Lost Children - raising money to look for more lost children at other residential school locations.

Visit Native Land  -  research where you live and what traditional territory you live on.

Read stories about children who tried to return home but did not survive.  Read survivors stories.  Read about how these children were treated.
