it's been a long long time since we've been to the saturday downtown farmers market, but we've been twice so far this year. there are plenty of familiar faces, and a lot of new faces and stalls too.
our old bannock stall seems to be gone, but there is a new one, and also a stall selling churros.
there are lots of bakery options and some vendors with alcohol, if that's your thing.
the first week we were there, the new free paper in town had a stall, so i got a copy, which nestled in my bag with the sourdough bread and lettuce.
the next week i picked up some kale, carrots, nectarines, zucchini and blueberries.
i made my first kale and apple juice with the kale. i was the only one who would try it, but whatever! it was good!
