Espresso Affogato

The simplest dessert in the world, and one of the very best. Here's our version:

Espresso Affogato
for one

good quality vanilla ice cream
1 shot espresso
good quality chocolate

Scoop the ice cream into a bowl. Pour over the espresso, and grate some chocolate on top. Serve right away.

How easy is that?

If you think this is good with ice cream, wait until you try it the traditional way with gelato!
