Weekend Cookbook Challenge - New and Improved!

Back in September I started the Weekend Cookbook Challenge on my blog. I have so many cookbooks that I have never cooked out of, and I thought it was time to change that. To my surprise, people were interested in it, and were asking me if I was planning on making it an event where other people could participate.

I've teamed up with the fabulous Alicat from Something So Clever and we've turned the WCC into a challenge that is open to anyone who wants to participate. We are very excited about this and hope that you guys are too!

So stay tuned, we'll be letting you know what the first challenge will be shortly!

I'm continually trying to cook out of all of my 600? cookbooks - this weekend I picked up the famous Art of Mastering French Cooking and also the White House Chef Cookbook from 1967 and a Lauren Groveman cookbook. I just got 3 more in the mail! I've got a ton to cook out of. With all the holidays coming up, I can definitely find something new to make from these books. I am also getting another few for my birthday and for Chanukah. Lots to choose from.

I'm taking the challenge. I do it every week anyway - check out my website and you'll see that I do something called This Weeks Winners (I cook from cookbooks and then post my adaptations and the source, of course). I've been doing this for years now.

Check out the archives.
