cookbook cleanup 62 - The Best of Friends The Restaurant
we are talking/planning about doing some redecorating in the house and moving some stuff around, and i might be losing my bookcase that I keep my cookbooks on, and have to move them to another already pretty full bookcase, so it's time to get real and realistic about the books i keep.
and so it pains me, but i'm going to donate this book. i just haven't been able to find a way to cook from it yet, and maybe there is someone out there who will. it's a sweet little book. sad face emoji.

Hello, and welcome to episode 2 of in the bin, where I share with you any and all assorted products I've used up and let you know very briefly what I thought of them.
first up are these Shea shampoo and conditioner from a set from The Body Shop. I LOVED these both. Made my hair super soft.
Santa brought me these shower steamers for Christmas. Loved the scent.
Both of these were a 10/10
i like basd and i like their scents, but the coffee scrub - while very nice!!!! is too messy for me. sorry.
helpful.
did this make a difference in my laundry? i'm not sure. did i feel fancy using it? a little.
yummy smelling and very moisturizing.

If anyone at my work saw me eating this lunch, they were probably horrified at the sight of me unhinging my jaw to get the Landsdowne Roll and Yam cone in my belly.

soy and butter glazed king oyster mushrooms
When we went to the Swelaps market I picked up these king oyster mushrooms because they looked super cool.
That night I sliced them and cooked them and then simmered them in a buttery, soy saucy, garlicky sauce based on this delicious recipe.
Once they were done, we tried them and were ready to go buy some more mushrooms to make this again - even The Boy tried on and sort of liked it! And he is a mushroom hater.
I still haven't gotten my hands on enoki mushrooms yet, but I'm keeping my eyes open.

we tried this ramen
we are already one month down in this year so far.
so far 2025 is not my favorite.
