We planted our garden three weeks ago and I know you guys are dying to see how it's coming along. Well, I aim to please!
Here's some of the lettuce. Getting bigger!
Thanks to my Mom and Dad we've added 3 pepper plants to the garden.
Onions! Look how big they are.
The potatos are kicking some a$$.
Not much change in the tomato and zucchini plants.
There was nothing happening in the Carrot and Spinach areas. We bought some new seeds are were going to replant and lo and behold, the carrots had started to spring up. So we left them alone and replanted the spinach area with spinach and beets.
The radishes.
Carrots.
A new heirloom tomato plant, thanks Mom and Dad!
So, it's going ok so far. We've had lots and lots of rain; some sun would be welcome I'm sure.
How are your gardens? What are you growing this year?

I am so impressed! Carrots and potatoes . . .I wish I had the room. That's on it way to be a wonderful grand garden.
Your veggies are kickin arse and takin names! heheee What kind of lettuce is that? It's gorgeous!
Ours is really doing well this year.. we think we finally found the secret to the zucchini.. instead of planting it at the back of the garden we put them in the middle this year and they are HUGE! Am so excited. My eggplant is also coming along as well as the swiss chard. squeeeeee!
We've also got 2 beefsteak tomatoes and 2 grape tomatoes, burpless cukes, yellow bell peppers, radishes, green beans (they aren't doing well though), leaf lettuce (growing like gang busters), cabbage, garlic and onions.
The only thing far enough along to eat is the lettuce - and unfortunately I squicked myself out to the point where I'm afraid to eat it anymore.. we planted in the garden this year instead of in containers - so there are slugs (EWWW!) in the lettuce. Now, when I washed it, before we ate, I found them all.. but there is always that lil bastard in the back of your head whispering, "What if you didn't get them all.. what if that squishy thing you just chewed WASN'T a tomato??" So yeah, now I can't even look at the lettuce. :(
TMI?

Tanna - well, we can hope. I'm sure my black thumb will cancel out Scott's green one and everything will die soon.
Lis - eggplant and chard! cool, please keep us updated with pictures. my lettuce was green when i planted it, i don't know why it's red. maybe it's rusting from all the rain!
Yay for progress!

wow! your veggies are growing so well. I wish I have a garden to grow my own veggies.
Great looking garden! We don't have room for a big garden so we are mainly doing containers, but I have little green tomatoes already and fennel and lots of herbs!
Ani - let's hope it keeps going.
tcn - your praise may be premature, but thank you!
deborah - i found our first tomato last night! it's so teeney.
