I ask seriously, because I grow onions, but plant them early spring and harvest until October. I've heard of planting in October, for spring growth, but in December, isn't the ground like, rock hard? (Can you tell I still haven't figured out this whole garden thing yet?)Morganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07173746904946406303noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7310300.post-16957371656621189502007-02-09T15:53:00.000-08:002007-02-09T15:53:00.000-08:00How interesting...thanks for the great post!A bowl...How interesting...thanks for the great post!

A bowl of your onion soup and a slice of that frittata would make the perfect Friday night dinner!

Susan from Food "Blogga"Susan from Food Bloggahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11034518858688958369noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7310300.post-83993489106128548842007-02-09T13:49:00.000-08:002007-02-09T13:49:00.000-08:00Mmmm, onion soup is darn close to my favorite soup...Mmmm, onion soup is darn close to my favorite soup of all time.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7310300.post-89633650544318120852007-02-09T10:08:00.000-08:002007-02-09T10:08:00.000-08:00Sara, I always love your Friday food letter! I'm going to make it next week. Also, I love the you leek and pepper frittata. I think leeks are undervalued and underused. A great introduction to the world of onions!Shaunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08345640038135299538noreply@blogger.com
